This work can also be done by the customer broker if you wish to hire one. This documentation is necessary because this makes sure that you cargo passes through the customs easily without any stoppage. Otherwise the shipment would get stuck if the documentations are not complete. If this happens then getting your shipment out from customs will be very difficult.  So it is advised that you ensure proper documentation in the first place for your own convenience. Therefore, if you have a shipment to make then you should get a broker and ensure your documentations are complete and authentic. This will be very convenient for you.


Lastly, many international shipping companies will refuse to take on your shipment if you have not insures it properly. This happens especially if your shipment includes items that are delicate, and then it is not likely for the shipping companies to take on the liability. If your shipment Is insured then you need not worry about it getting lost or it getting damaged.
