Are you ready to build your own empire? Me too. I am a hard working mother of three boys and am looking for ways to make my life easier. I want to earn a living but still be able to get them to soccer practice, help with math homework, and be there for them when they are sick. Instead of asking for permission, I am charting my own course.

Are you ready to build your own empire? Me too. I am a hard working mother of three boys and am looking for ways to make my life easier. I want to earn a living but still be able to get them to soccer practice,Build Your Online Empire Articles help with math homework, and be there for them when they are sick. In the workplace, there are few places that would allow me to take off at 3p.m. everyday, or allow me to work from home when I have a sick child. Instead of asking for permission, I am charting my own course. My own course to an online empire! Here are some of the best ways to make money online:

1. Website. By building a website (ie. blog or sales page), you're creating your own plot of online "land." You can fill this land with whatever you want, but you have to promote it through social media (and anywhere else you can think of) for this to be successful. When you build traffic to your land, you can sell people whatever you have to offer. In order to build a website, you need a host (I use HostGator), a template (I use WordPress), and content. The first two parts are easy to find, and content is only as difficult as you make it. You can post blogs, items for sale, pictures, videos, or whatever you want. Opening up your own website gives you the potential to make money from the avenues mentioned below:

2. If you have a website and are looking to monetize that website, a great option is an easy Google advertising platform called Google AdSense. By pasting a small code on your website, ads automatically roll in and you don't have to do anything with it. When you start getting followers and they start clicking on those ads, you start making money.

3. Affiliate marketing. This is a way of selling products on your website and when you do, you get to keep a percentage of the purchase price. Amazon has an Associates program for site owners and bloggers. They offer a search tool to find the right products and services from their site and a variety of ad styles to display on your site, including text-based and banner images (digital billboards). Each item purchased through your Amazon links give you a commission. It doesn't take high volume traffic to achieve results, either.

4. If you have a passion project, Kickstarter may be exactly what you need to get it off the ground. Celebs like Zach Braff and Melissa Joan Hart have used this site in attempts to fund their movie projects. All you need is a dream, a goal, a budget, and a great pitch to convince people to come to the site and donate to your Kickstarter campaign. Its the digital way to seek funding for your next project.
