If you are serious about business you have to be at the cutting edge of what you do. The stress and strain that business brings if you don’t make the right move at the right time could mean serious trouble. The biggest hurdle to overcome if you are new to business is running your business properly. By that I mean,Business Coaching Articles if you haven’t had at least 5 years in running your own business you are a new kid on the block.

The surest way to ensure you do well is to engage the services of a mentor or coach. Here are some ways that a coach can help you avoid mistakes and send your business to the next level.

Coaches are able to:

• Identify your weaknesses and offer suggestions for improvement.

• Provide you with valuable feedback as to how to move forward when you find yourself at a standstill

• Give you a sense of accountability in what you do

• Give you creative ideas so you can see the big picture

• Help you with setting goals and keeping you on track to achieve your vision

Coaches are a great source of information. Learn to draw on their experience.

Selection of your coach is very important. Just because someone advertises that they are a coach doesn’t mean they know what they are doing.

Over the years I have hired three coaching organizations or mentors to help me in business. I spent about $20,000 on two of them and gained nothing to show for it. The third was worthwhile. He took me under his wing and through his help after a short while I was able to turnover $5 million with virtually no effort.

This is the type of mentor/coach you want to get instruction from. Here are a few tips to assist you in identifying the right coach.

They must:

• Be outrageously successful

• Be not only a coach but actually running a business as well

• Have references that check out [no unhappy clients]

• Be willing to be accountable when they give advice

• Be willing to put their money where their mouth is and give you guarantees

• Make you feel welcome and be approachable at all times

These attributes were all evident in one of my mentors, Mr Green. He was able to help me move to great heights in personal development. Another mentor, Siegfried Konig took me as a budding flower to a master of business where I was able to turn over $140 million in less than 18 months.

Since then, I have been able to help many hundreds of others to do well by giving something back for what others have given me,.
