Choosing Decorative Bathroom Wall Panels

If you’re looking for something to replace the tile or wallpaper in your bathroom, why not try out bathroom wall panels? They are durable, long lasting, and can withstand a bathroom’s moisture. In addition, they are becoming more and more stylish. Because of this, bathroom wall panels can last quite a long time without needing to be replaced.

Why Choose Bathroom Wall Panels?

Customize Them to your Liking

There almost are as many bathroom wall panels as you can dream up. You can choose something classy, or something fun for a kid’s bathroom. These panels come in a wide variety of faux textures, designs, and colors.

Durable

Bathroom wall panels won’t be damaged by water or chipped like tile is. They are usually waterproof.

Good for Health

Because these panels are mold resistant, you won’t have to worry about the dangerous germs mold could bring into your life. In addition, you won’t need to use special cleaners on these wall panels, so that means you’ll be introducing fewer harmful chemicals into your bathroom, and you won’t have to clean as often. This is good for everyone involved.

Economical

Many of them will be less expensive than tile, so you’d save money on the initial purchase. In addition, unlike tile, these panels do not chip. And unlike wallpaper, they won’t be damaged by water. This means you won’t have to spend extra money repairing or replacing them like you might with tile or wallpaper. Buying these wall panels is truly a one-time investment, not an ongoing one.

   1. Choose the right bathroom wall panels for you. Do so by measuring your bathroom and determining how much paneling you will need. Make sure to buy paneling that can handle steam and moisture well.
   2. If you are replacing an existing wall, you will first need to remove the drywall or sheetrock.
   3. Measure the distance between the wall stud centers, and measure the height of the wall. This will let you know how to cut the panels. Cut the panels with the knife in the appropriate height and width.
   4. Nail the panels to the studs, with two panels per stud.
