Conservation architects

The world has both the different lands of ancient cultures as well as the society of modern world. The world have issues to face like poverty, population etc., but we have barred certain parts of achievement one of them is the works of architects. Little has been done or thought about the design activity in the developing world. India ranks amongst the largest construction market in the world.

So where do architect comes into this?  And what is conservation? Conservation means protecting something or taking care of something, architect who is qualified in carry out that job. Conservation architect are those people who try to save our architectural structure from our history which is mostly the ancient buildings which are losing their beauty.   Architecture and landscape architecture are authorities dedicated to the art of buildings. This includes the designs of buildings, and the wider natural and urban environments. It also involves the most intimate space of dwelling, to complexities of infra structures to open spaces. Conservation architect can also mean as the process through which the material, history and designs of built heritage are protracted through planned intercession. The threat of over-commercialization of heritage sites with World Heritage status in China to cater to the hordes of domestic and foreign tourists, as already happened to the historic town of Lijiang, has highlighted the importance of the field of cultural heritage management--how to maintain the site in a sustainable way after it has been proper conserved and opened to visitors. Hence, architectural Conservation in the Chinese context is increasingly more closely allied with heritage management and tourism studies.

Edinburgh is the major centre of Enlightenment, the old town and new town of the Edinburgh architect, were listed in UNESCO as the world heritage site. There are over 4,500 listed buildings within the city. The city attracts 1 million overseas visitors a year, making it the second most visited tourist destination in the United Kingdom, after London. The New Town was an 18th century solution to the problem of an increasingly crowded Old Town. The city had remained incredibly compact, confined to the ridge running down from the castle. Edinburgh is home to a large number of museums and libraries, many of which are national institutions. These include the museum of Scotland, the royal museum, The national library of Scotland, National war museum of Scotland, the Museum of Edinburgh, Museum of childhood and the Royal society of Edinburgh. There are many Edinburgh architects such as Allan Murray architects; they have done substantial work in the Scottish capital.

Such   Edinburgh architects are trying their best t preserve their historical structures and their beauty which attracts the rest of the world. Many have voted the city as the city they would love to live in, what really attracts these people are the gothic structures which are present around the city making it really gothic. In recent years George Street in the New town has grown in prominence, with a large number of new, up market night clubs and night houses making it a traveler’s memorable destination.
