No matter what kind of retail store you manage – whether it’s a gas station,Create Bulk Candy Displays for Fun and Profit! Articles bookstore, or candy store – you can create bulk candy displays for fun and profit.

If you’re not familiar with creating candy displays, or you want a few pointers to help make your current displays more fun and profitable, check out the five steps below.

1. Choose Your Display Space

One of the most important steps to creating any kind of merchandise display is deciding the best place to situate the display. Knowing where you have space – and which space is most likely gong to be the most successful in grabbing your customers’ attention – will help you decide which kinds of display fixtures you’ll need and even which kinds of candy to showcase.

You might already have a display space in mind; if you do, make sure it will still work after you check out the following four steps. And, if you aren’t yet sure where to showcase your bulk candy display, the next four steps can help you decide.

2. Choose Your Candy

The key word in creating bulk candy displays for fun is FUN. You want to choose candy that fits with your usual customer base (for example, gumballs for children or gourmet chocolates for adults), but you want to make sure that no matter what candy you choose, you can present it in a fun and attractive way.

3. Check Out Various Display Fixtures

Display fixtures not only help you effectively display your bulk candy, which can help increase profits, but they also help you make those displays fun.

Be sure to spend some time checking out all of your options. Look at fixtures designed specifically for floor and countertop displays, brightly colored acrylic bins you can use to catch your customers’ eyes, and convenient scoops your customers can use to easily access the candy.

4. Consider Pre-Filled Candy Displays

Pre-filled candy display fixtures are probably some of the most fun – and easiest to set up – fixtures available. Depending on your display space and customers, you might want to check out gumball machines and lollipop trees, or even larger racks equipped with pre-filled candy buckets.

5. Test the Bulk Candy Display With Your Customers

Once you gather up all your materials and create your display, it’s time to give it a test run with your customers.

Pay attention to your customers’ reactions. As they walk through your store, do they seem attracted to the display? Does the display provide enough room for them to move around? How convenient is it for them to access both the display fixtures and the candy?

Make adjustments to your bulk candy display based on these observations. Or, sit back and reap your profits!
