Ever since this never-ending lockdown began,Getting used to normal life again. Articles we can all agree that life has come to a standstill. In its early stages, you could barely see a soul out and about. You’d get those apocalyptic vibes with deserted streets, restaurants and all such hangout locations. Life wasn’t always like this- sitting at home, staring at screens while bloating up all day.

For most of us, losing our touch with fitness hit us pretty hard. Working out was therapeutic for a lot of people. Muscle soreness was a common occurrence on our day to day lives. But now it’s mostly just soreness from sitting around with a poor posture. I bet you just corrected your posture! Well, so did I.

Of course one can still workout at home, but then again, I think we can all agree that it just isn’t the same. Curling those dumbbells, pushing those barbells, and after hitting that sweet spot you got that sense of accomplishment that was addicting and made us push ourselves further. Sweating profusely in your living room, that too around your family, doesn’t feel or sound right, does it?

Then again, the situation is such that there’s not much we can do about it, other than make the most of it. Be it a gym or your very own home, one needs to get active enough to remain fit. Because once everything opens up, it might turn out to be hard for us to get used to normal life again. We’ve all been quite inactive for the most part of 2020, dealing with not only mental stress, but physical stress as well. Our new ‘Work from Home’ lives felt relaxing at first, but turned out to be quite detrimental in the long run. The occurrence of these  constant aches are not a good sign, and they are not out of the blue as well. Almost 25% of the human discomforts are based around muscular pain. If ignored, such pain can impair your movement and posture. There are gels for muscle pain, but they aren’t the only options for your recovery. There are various physical therapy routines, that are easily accessible on the internet. These routines exist for all sorts of aches and pains. Even if you already taking care of yourself and have been working out during the lockdown, you’d still need these therapies and other remedies to recover from either muscle soreness or an injury. For example, if you’ve been trying to stay in shape by running, you’d need proper routine for muscular stretching to avoid later injuries, or a sprained ankle treatment for an injury you got during your workouts.
