IMHX

Billed as 'The UK's Essential Intralogistics Event', in September 2016 the Birmingham NEC will once again play host to the International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX). Encompassing five halls of the massive NEC venue, and showcasing more than 400 exhibitors, IMHX 2016 is expected to draw tens of thousands of industry professionals from all over the UK and beyond, to network, connect and exchange information. In an exciting addition for young people considering a career in haulage jobs, this year the event will include the presence of the inaugural Skills and Apprenticeships Zone. The zone will feature attendance by high profile industry trade bodies, as well as employers seeking apprentices for their programmes and exhibitors featuring a range of new apprentice-based schemes.

The Commercial Vehicle Show

For anyone who works on the road doing haulage jobs, or in the administration and management side of the transport and logistics industry, the Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show is your reward!

Showcasing new products and technology for all industry professionals, the Commercial Vehicle Show is Britain's largest and widest-ranging event of its kind and a true heaven for anyone interested in vans, lorries and any other commercial vehicles. Another event hosted by the giant NEC Birmingham, the CV Show attracts more than 20,000 visitors over the three-day event. An important opportunity for fleet buyers and sellers, the show is also renowned as a key networking event.

CV Show 2016 will run from 26-28th April.

SITL Europe 2016

Just a quick Eurostar ride away from the UK, in Paris, SITL Europe is described as 'the international meeting place for transport, freight forwarding and the logistics chain'. To be held over three days from 22-25th March, at Parc des Expositions, Paris Nord, the event encompasses a truly international flavour, with around 800 exhibitors showcasing the latest developments in information and technology, shipping, and transportation equipment. With an expected 40,000 visitors in 2016, SITL Europe focuses on the concept of 'tomorrow's supply chain', offering access to a vast range of innovations in distribution services and supply chain provision. The event is open to industry professionals only.
