Clasps are the end part of necklaces and bracelets. The most important feature of jewelry is the clasp.  The jewelry clasp performs the action by which you can easily wear and remove jewelry without any damage to it. In some of jewelry the clasps are hidden and in some they are important part of the design in form of stunning design, but they are an internal part of nearly every bracelet and necklace design. Clasps have a huge range of variety of materials, shapes, and designs. Each clasp has a different style and tone and it creates different effects and adds a beautiful attraction to your designs.

There are different types and kinds of jewelry clasps that you can find for your necklace and bracelets.

Ball clasp:

A ball clasp is clasp which is round and spherical in shape, a bead or a gemstone is used to make it. Whenever a ball clasp or a bead clasp is used it, it matches and makes a necklace and bracelets designs more beautiful.

Lobster clasp:

Lobster clasp has a shape of lobster’s claw. It has a lever in it, push the lever to open and insert the end part of necklace or bracelet in it and release it to close it. Hook clasp:

A hook clasp will use hook on and off motion. It is a curved piece of metal. One part of necklace is permanently attached to the hook and other part of necklace or bracelet is inserted into the loop which catches it the circle and holds it in its place.

Magnetic clasp:

A magnetic clasp has a magnet attached to it to hold the necklace or bracelet together. The magnet makes the flow of on and off easily.

Spring Ring Clasps

A spring ring clasp is used to open and close the chain or bracelet when you push on the lever towards backward position which will slide along a circular ring.There's a tiny spring inside the clasp that puts pressure on the mechanism to keep the spring ring shut until you decide to open it again.

 Once the clasp is open you can simply insert the starting part of necklace and bracelet that's attached to the piece you're connecting into the open circle, and then you can release the lever to return it to the closed position.Spring ring clasps are mainly used to secure necklaces, bracelets, but sometimespeople face difficultly to operate very tiny spring ring clasps.Clasps which are attached to a good sized loop can be handled easily.
