Recently the foundation has supported the Avalokitesvara Trust’ establishing RYTHM Libraries in 15 rural schools in Ladakh. With the establishment of the RYTHM libraries, the company and Avalokitesvara Trust aim to empower these children with the gift of learning by providing access to essential learning materials. The project will focus on setting up libraries and spaces for effective learning in existing monastic, government, and private schools. Earlier this decade, the company also donated towards the setting up of the Department of Ayurvedic Research at the Sri Sri University (SSU) in Orissa. This Asian direct selling powerhouse is also partner of Akshaya Trust, India, the non-profit trust that provides food, shelter and aid for street people in Madurai, India. The company donated a sum of USD 40,000 to aid completion of a home for the less fortunate in the Madurai District in India. The Akshaya Home, as the project was christened, was inaugurated on May 9th 2013 and can house some 450 people from the streets of Dubai.
