Why Made-in-China Is Very Cheap Yet Not Popular In America?

Americans actually are not quite fond of Made-in-China. They may even bear some hate for this. But the reality is that you can never ignore made-in-china products no matter you like it or not. Despite Americans are said to the quite rich, not every one of them are in the upper society.

As electronic commerce is so hot in America, Americans will purchase products from countries in the whole world. This has China too. You may not buy made-in-china when you are in America, but how could you know your item will not be sent from China if the online store you choose has a warehouse right in China?

It is known that made-in-china is in bad quality. China has a reputation for cheap labors. People always think made-in-China is produced in those dark and unsecure places. This gives them the first bad impression. Besides, the products always look cheap and shabby. How can you think it is a decent product if it even does not have a nice appearance?

The second one is the design of the products. Made-in-China is always not fashionably designed. Or it may copy some famous designs. But America people tend to love unique and special designs or features. They do not like to be the same as other people. Yet not everyone wants to be the same as someone else. How can you distinguish yourself from others if you and other people are alike?

Third, Chinese people are said to pirate a lot. They sell piratical CDs, books, toys and so on. But this is quite strange to American people. Americans emphasize and protect their copyrights which are on the contrary in China. Thus you would not feel nice when you are using a product which may be pirated.

Fourth, for some people, this is something about politics. They do not think highly of Chinese Government or the social system. In some cases, this will affect their attitudes or actions in real lives. It is not wrong. Everybody has his own belief and favors. This remains a rarely talked topic. It is up to you to choose Made-in-China or not.

The last one is something related to the policies of international or export trades. As the policies state clearly how much will be paid for the export trade, the seller would have a second thought on their profits. Thus it will have an influence on the products and qualities.

In a word, although the world is becoming smaller, people have no choice but to live to fit it. Made-in-China can be seen almost everywhere. Even it is cheap and sometimes quite cute, it is not the first choice for nearly all the Americans.
