It has some notable differences as compared with other smart phones that make it brilliant just days after its release.

The new android powered phone by Google is the next best thing as far as phones are concerned. It is lighter and thinner than its rivals and offers some excellent new features. Google has made a phone with the customer's needs and preferences in mind and it is user friendly in all of its programs and design features.

The Nexus One smart phone has a huge screen that is bright and simple to use. It offers four main touch buttons that include; back, menu, home and search. It also has a navigation trackball for quick referencing.

It is powered by Snapdragon 1GHz core processor and can manage 3D graphics and various running applications, while supporting busy browser use all at once. This phone does not go into slow mode nor does it lag when multiple programs and applications are running at once. There is no need to start closing down applications to gain normal speed.

The new Android 2.1 is run here. It has Google voice application and you can assign a Google voice number to your phone and use it for all outbound calls and text messages.

With this phone you can scroll 3D applications and use a new technology called CoolIns for cool picture viewing. This phone also has an accelerometer feature so you can tip phone to see immediate results. Google also offers settings back up service for you to save your profile, applications, ring tone and other settings.

The Nexus One also has a new clock application. This allows you to view the time, weather and alarm all at once. You can use your phone instead of an alarm clock beside your bed. The weather and time update as you change time zones.

This phone uses a voice keyboard with all text applications. You can simply say what you want and the phone will type it into the phone and send it as a text. This feature is about 90% accurate which is amazing; however the accuracy declines to 70% in a moving car, which is where you might be using it the most.

A five megapixel camera allows this phone to take some great pictures. You can take pictures and load them to your phone for future use. When you view your pictures you can either keep them or transfer them to another application.

This phone offers some nice features with only a few drawbacks. The first negative aspect is the short battery life; with a cell phone you really need the reliability of a strong battery life, the microphone for using voice text or for simply talking on the phone are in an awkward location, making it hard to talk hands free and still have the person understand what it is you are saying.

This phone has partnered with T-Mobile, where you can buy the phone on its own or with them using one of their plans. They offer a plan that seems user friendly and the contract can be canceled if you buy the remainder of the phone from them.
