Microsoft Corporation, the American Multinational company has recently launched the non-security updates for Office 2013 and 2017. The update was scheduled to be released on 4th July 2017. But due to Independence Day, it was then released a day later. Microsoft releases non-security updates for Office on the first Tuesday of every month. Office 2016 July 2017 Non-Security Updates

• (KB3213547)- This update enables all the MS Office users to communicate through a meeting link in a more reliable manner even if there is a DNS failure. To apply this update, make sure you have MS 2016 installed on your device.
• The KB3213548 update for Skype for business 2016 updated the version to 16.0.4561.1000. It includes KB4032342 and KB4032343 that fixes two issues:

1. Inconsistency of the chat history in keyboard navigation
2. Low performance of Internet Explorer every time you enable the Skype for Business Browser add-on for Skype for Business 2016

• (KB3203481) This update is for MS PowerPoint 2016. This works on the text style font properties in PowerPoint.
• KB3203473 update is for Visio 2016. It fixes two major issues that were crashing of application in
  Visio 2016 when you view live previews of shape styles and The Shape.BoundingBox method return incorrect results.
• The KB3203476 update helps in improving some of the issues like preventing the lost of cost precision when you copy and paste a task in a specific project, preventing the loss of Numeric Values from XML files that includes comma decimal characters. The last error was occurring when the Project 2016 uses dot decimal characters.
• The special update KB3203471 can be implemented on Windows 7 systems. It has made users get rid of all the emojis issues and errors. Moreover, it also installs the Segoe UI emoji font.

Office 2013 July 2017 Non-Security Updates

For Office 2013, Microsoft brings out two updates as KB3213567 and KB3213574. The former update has improved some of the translations from the Dutch version of MS word 2013. However, the later update, updated the Skype for Business 2015, including the new Skype for business clients. The latest version is now 15.0.4945.1000.
