Step 1:

First of all connect the pendrive which you want to format through command prompt.

Step 2:

After connecting the pendrive open the command prompt i.e CMD as run as administrator.

 

Step 3:

After opening the command prompt simply type Diskpart and hit enter.

Step 4:

After that, we need to check the disks, so simply type list disk to check the current disks in the computer.

 

Step 4:

After hat we need to select the disk we need to format, so in my case Disk 0 is HDD, Disk1 is SSD and Disk 2 is my Pendrive, so enter Select Disk 2 and hit enter.

Now there is a message i.e. Disk 2 is now selected disk.

Step 5:

Now we need to clean the pendrive, so simply type clean in the command prompt and hit enter.

Now there is a message i.e. Diskpart succeeded in creating the specified partition.

Step 6:

After successfully cleaning the pendrive, we need to create partition. So, simply type create partition primary and hit enter.

Now there is a message i.e. Diskpart successed in creating the specified partition.

Step 7:

Now we need to format the pendrive. To format the pendrive, simply type format fs ntfs quick and hit enter.

Now there is a message i.e. 100 percent completed.

So, we have successfully formatted the Pendrive through command prompt.
