Wasting your PCs resources is wasting time and energy. You should look for one that offers incremental backups so that you can be assured that everything is up to date on a regular basis without biting into the PCs run time.
Find a backup software program that offers you a free trial. I cant say how important this is. You really should only ever trail a product before you make the purchase as you can be left bitterly disappointed in wasting your dollars on something that doesn't suit your needs or over suits them completely. If a company doesn't offer a free trial they have something to hide with their program if you ask me. I want to know exactly what I'm getting before I part with a single dollar.
Finally check out if the backup software program has data compression. Without it you are setting yourself up for the biggest headache to do with memory and storage. ,you certainly don't want them in any other format that firmly compressed.
