The top surface is made of black aluminum,Razer Blade Stealth Review Articles which is very smooth & different material from last year model but is shows fingerprint on it. On the top surface, it has green-lighted Razer logo. The bottom surface is made of same material. At the bottom part, there are some intake vents & rubber strips, which allows air circulation. This is the best-built quality ultrabook I ever used.

The display is very rigid & less flex. The hinges are very solid and perfectly tuned. It is one-handed open. The display is 12.5” Quad HD Touch Display. The resolution is 2560*1440. The bezels are very thick. The viewing angle & contrast of the display is excellent. The color accuracy is also awesome. You can do the color accurate work on it like video editing & Photoshop. The screen is glassy and it also shows some reflections but the display is bright enough so you can use this outdoors. The webcam is good and it is 2MP. It is very sharp & image quality is good.

The keyboard chassis area is little flexible. The material is same here and it leaves fingerprints on it. The keyboard is Razer Chroma. You can change the color of particular every key from the software. The keyboard has anti-ghosting it means once you press any key, it lights all keys. So much fun from the keyboard side! The key travel is short but I feel good trying. If you are not comfortable with short key travel, it takes the time to get comfortable. The layout is good. The typing experience is also good.

The trackpad is good. It is made of glass, which I like most. The texture is good. The tracking is not so good because it skips sometimes. The buttons are smooth and very responsive.

On the right side, you have USB C, which supports Thunderbolt 3, which you using to charge this laptop and you can also connect external GPU. Next is USB 3 and audio jack. On the other side, HDMI port & a single USB 3 port. There is no SD card slot.

It is very easy to get in internal parts. There is 8GB of RAM which is sorted on the motherboard so you can’t upgrade it. You have to stick with 8GB RAM! Storage drives are replaceable. The drives are very slow. The write speed is relatively slow. So, in my recommendation, you should replace this with faster drives.

The gaming performance is good, not excellent because of integrated graphics. But still, you can play low-end games at 53-55 FPS at lowest graphics on the 1080p screen. For demanding games are also playable at 42-45 FPS, for better performance you should low the graphics and resolution. High-end games re not playable on integrated graphics.

If you want to play games very smoothly you should go for Razer Core, which is external GPU. You can boost graphics and play games very smoothly. For that, you have to purchase Razer Core, put your favorite video card into it and you are ready to go! So, this is the option for gaming.

The battery performance is excellent. It has a 45WH battery. It requires 2 hours to get a full charge. For normal daily usages it gives 6-7 hours of battery life and for gaming, it gives 1-2 hours of battery life.

The speakers are not so good. Speakers are on the both sides of the keyboard. The sound is not loud and the bass is also bad but at maximum volume, sound doesn’t distort.

The Razer Blade gets very hot because of GTX 960M and super thin design but this model has low volt CPU & integrated graphics, it stays cool. Overall this device is thermal comfortable.

The fans are good. It cools system very well. Under full load, fans are very quiet.

This unit runs on 2.5GHz Intel Core i7-6500U processor, which provides excellent performance. It has integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 that allows decent gaming. Thunderbolt 3 supports external GPU for the amazing gaming experience. The 8GB DDR3 RAM is sorted on the motherboard and 128 GB SSD, which has lower, write speed. This is very well built with black aluminum. The display is 12.5” Quad HD Touch that is awesome. The webcam is good. The keyboard & trackpad is also good. The speakers are in a good place but the sound is bad. The battery performance is excellent. This Razer Blade stealth will cost you around $1000.

In my opinion, I really like this ultrabook. If you are a student then this laptop is for you because it has all features at decent price rate. You can play games and also use it for daily basis. You can also do regular laptop work on it and the best part is you don’t need to upgrade any components of this ultrabook. The battery performance is also good; you don’t need to take the charger with you every time. If you are a content creator or video editor or gamer then you can use this Ultrabook but you should upgrade some of the components like you have to use faster drives, 4K display, and Razer Core.
