Voodoo Chronicles: The First Sign

The game starts out by telling you a story of an artifact that can make you wildest dreams come true. The artifact has been hunted for by a group of people on a remote island. But having destroyed the local tribe they attracted the curse of a shaman.

The story is not finished as the mystic events are now happening with those who survived. You are being an outstanding detective invited to dig down to the core of this old story.

It becomes very clear that the developers of the game have done a great job here. Everything that has to do with story telling is there. There are the voice-overs, the interactive dialogues, animated details that intervene as you go from one scene to another.

There are many interactive areas to explore taking you to other scenes for the inventory. You will have to play the hidden object levels every once in a while. Those scenes are cluttered but the items don't seem out of place.

There are also many mini puzzles to solve as you go through the game. Those are would be all familiar to the fans of the genre, but some of them do have some fresh twists to them.

The game with everything it has is really worth to be chosen for a few hours to kill.
