There is no such thing as a perfect relationship. No matter who you end up dating, there will always be a couple of issues that surface. Get in the habit of simply talking to each other without struggling to justify yourself or your values. Simply take the time to listen and you can begin to feel for each other. Keep in mind that small disagreements and bickering often conceal a more serious problems. Look a bit harder and see if there is something there such as a lack of respect.

After you figure out what you need to improve, develop an action plan that the two of you can follow. Don't forget that both of you are in this together so you both should work at saving your relationship. You can't demand your partner to do all the work. Sometimes if you just take the time to understand each other things will take care of themselves.
