• Lady Gaga – Of course we all remember the dress made up entirely of meat, but does anyone remember the meat boots? Complete with butcher-style string, these meaty boots were anything but yummy.
• Taylor Momsen – What boots do you wear to get a cup of coffee? If you’re Taylor Momsen, you wear boots that have as many buckles as possible. She was spotted recently in a Goth-inspired ensemble complete with a pair of leather platform boots sporting no less than eight buckles on each boot.

• Color and Pattern – While it’s OK to wear a daring boot with a neutral outfit, take care not to choose a boot color that clashes with your clothing. Pay special attention to patterns too. Some patterns just don’t mix well.
• Contrast – Choosing a contrasting boot color can work well if the color you choose complements the color of your outfit. To tie it all together, wear an accessory of the same color as your boots.
• Boot Height – Thigh and knee-high boots go very nicely with leggings and skinny jeans. If you’re wearing a flowing, romantic dress, ankle-height boots are probably your best option. Keep your hemline in mind when choosing boots to wear with dresses and skirts.
