In case the entire course is online, this question is moot but where the traditional modes of distance education are being opted for, this can be a big question. You would not want to travel all over the USA to get your MBA formalities done. If you are in Nashville look for an office in your city and if you are in Rochester look for an office in your city.

Another important thing that you need to check upon is the record of that institution's placements and the salaries that the students were able to get. The fact is that you are doing an MBA to get a good position. If you cannot get the position and salary you want even after doing the MBA, not much point investing the time and effort!
