Defensive Driving or DD is a method of driving aimed at improving safety and reducing road accidents. The term ‘defensive’ can also be replaced by words such as ‘aware’ or ‘prudent’. The original term Defensive Driving was developed to teach drivers skills of predicting and anticipating dangerous driving situations.
