1)LAND OF NATURAL WONDERS:

For a country that's known for its strong economy, we tend to think about the cities like New York and party hubs like Texas and Vegas but did you know the USA has numerous culturally special heritage sites?

We often forget the fact that the US is the fourth largest country by size and there's more to it than just world trade center and wall street and world class universities.

From Canadian border to Mexican border we can count numerous culturally special sites like the grand canyon!

 

2)THE AMERICAN FLAG HAS 27 VERSIONS:

This could come as a shock for a lot of us cause we have seen the American flag numerous times in the popular American movies like the sniper and the superman! Right?

Well, yes, this is history. Ever since the US got its independence from the British , they have changed the flag 27 times, all for valid reasons. 

The first version of the flag consisted of 13 stripes and 13 stars that signifies the 13 colonies of the US.

Now it has 50 stars that represent the 50 states of the US. Makes sense right?

How many of you actually realized that the most famous singers are from the US? 

Not just the popularity but the quality of their work is also outstanding. One might wonder , " Maybe it's the studios and the opportunities that the US provides".

The USA has given this world some of its best singers like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Jimmy Hendrix, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, and many many more.

 

4) NEW YORK CITY USED TO BE THE CAPITAL OF AMERICA:

We all have come to recognize Washington DC as the capital of the USA but this wasn't always the case. 

New York city used to be the capital of the United States until 1790. It was a long time ago but still, this is the fact!

 

5) KENTUCKY HAS MORE BOURBON THAN PEOPLE:

Did you know that Kentucky generates upto 96% of the overall bourbon produced in the world?

If you had watched the series mad men you would fall in love with the beverage. 

Kentucky stores around 4.7 million barrels of bourbon which actually outweighs the number of the people there!

Yes, that's how much bourbon they create! If you are a fan of the drink, you have the state of Kentucky to thank!

No matter which part of the world you are from, you must have heard of "The IV league"

We all know that the world's richest people like bill gates and Mark Zuckerberg came out of the IVY leagues and dominated the world. 

Most of the top ranked universities are from the US and we all wish we could study the top courses there!

Like we all know, America is a land of opportunities and so many of us have actually called the country our home, thanks to its hospitality until Trump became president and messed up the Visa rules.
