The hybrid conference is taking place today (28 November) and includes the chance for online delegates to view pre-recorded content, plus ask questions live to the conference hall through a virtual MC.

The research showed there would be an increase in meetings and events held in 2013, with respondents on average producing six events in 2012, rising to around eight in 2013.

The average number of delegates at each event was 262, with 22.4% of European buyers saying that was an increase on the previous year.

A total of 63.2% of European buyers said delegate numbers remained flat, while 14.4% said numbers had decreased.
