Homeopathy Degree: Is it Possible to Earn One?

The Doctor of Homeopathy degree program is course intensive and encompasses advanced-level academics and training in anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, homeopathic philosophy, varying degrees of homeopathy, homeopathic animal remedies, complementary and alternative medicine, dietary/nutrition remedies, homeopathic treatments for various health conditions, drug/herb/vitamin interactions, ethics and legal aspects.

A Master of Science in natural health, homeopathy degree program encompasses coursework in biology, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, clinical ecology, iridology, varying levels of homeopathy, naturopathy, and related subject matter.

While not all alternative medicine colleges promote homeopathy degree programs, the ones that do, offer comprehensive training and education in this ancient healing art.  In addition to abovementioned homeopathy degree programs, students can opt to pursue a Ph.D. homeopathy degree.  In this program, serious students will learn about homeopathy, bio-energetic medicine and biophysics, Western nutrition principles, personality theories, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, homeopathic first aid and prescriptions, material medica (mineral, chemical, plant and animal derivations), homeotherapeutics, case analyses and management, pathology, pharmacology, and clinical diagnosis – among other related topics of study.
