If you will be given an option to teach your child at home,Homeschooling Program - Is It For You? Articles will you do it? With the steeping prices of tuition fees, increasing crimes, and declining education standards, the option of homeschooling has been getting a lot of attention these days.

What is Home Schooling

Actually, most of us parents did home school our children when they were young. I personally have done this and tutored my two daughters when they were were 4 years old. They skipped the nursery stage because I was already able to teach them to read, write and draw. The prep school assessed them that they can start with Kinder 1. It gave us great relief to save money for that 1 whole year when we did not have to spend for their tuition fee. It was also a joyous experience knowing that our children learned their first subjects through us, their parents.

Basically, home schooling is like that and it can be easy to decide to go through it when your child is still a little tot or a toddler. What if your children are already grown ups just like mine?

Best Candidates for Home Schooling

I've never given much thought about home schooling until recently when I've read about so many parents doing it and realized that it is indeed being allowed in the country. Actually, many families undergo homeschooling programs when they fall in these categories:

1.they live in secluded places (maybe far away provinces)
2. they are celebrities or athletes who need to go to different places most of the time
3. they are families of expats
4. the kids or the parents have health conditions

Homeschooling As Part of Parenting Style

Aside from the reasons I've mentioned above, there are families who may choose homeschooling because they have parenting reasons to do so. One reason is they have religious beliefs that they want to instill to their children which can't be done when they go to big schools. Another reason I see is because of the increasing issues in bullying wherein parents think that big schools these days, no matter how they claim that they are dealing with these issues, is that some children are just getting to be more aggressive and their children's mental/social growth will just be impeded when they continue to go to these schools.
