Go to Class

Actually going to class may seem obvious, but so many college students will find an excuse to skip class. If you want to get an A in college, showing up to every class will go a long way to helping you succeed.

Stay Organized

Being organized builds off of going to every class. Be sure to take notes, but even more importantly, keep up on important dates for exams, paper due dates, etc. Mark all of your important dates into some sort of calender or organizer, and be sure to look at it everyday. Being staying organized you will avoid those all night cram sessions.

Learn from the Past

The more you can learn about the class before you take it, the easier it will be to get an A in the class. If there are multiple professors offering the same class, find out which professor is better suited to your style of learning before registering. You will have even better luck if you can get your hands on past exams or sample papers from friends who have taken the class already.

Getting an A in college is more than just hard work and lots of studying, but being smart about how you approach each class.
