They allow for discussion through setting up the chat rooms that are like virtual classrooms where the students can put up their queries to the teachers and the teachers respond to their queries and doubts accordingly via the internet.

Such on-line discussions and courses have been often proved to be more rewarding and fruitful than regular classroom interactions as they allow for students and teachers from different parts of the world to converge. Also, they facilitate saving of time for those that are bounded with familiar and professional obligations and can not account for a full time professional courses  to acquire specialized knowledge in their field.

On-line Universities have facilitated greater accessibility to education than ever before as they do not require physical infrastructure for implementation and operations. While popular interpretation and perception values a degree from a regular college over one from an On-line college, still the virtual; on-line universities have the greatest advantage of an on-line university or college, that a student need not to be present physically in the campus to commute or live on campus.

These great advantages of an online colleges or universities tilt much of the debate in its favor and causes preference of many of students and teachers over traditional on-campus courses in real universities. As most of the people today want to have a boost in their career by acquiring some specialized degree in their filed, besides that the still have to account for the personal, professional and familiar obligations. The aspects of online universities cause this problem to solve and thus they are preferred by many.
