We all know that there are two most common classifications of English known throughout the world. There are other variations in reality, but everything is wrapped in two, and these are basically the American and British English.

Have you thought about what is "better" and more "accurate" in English? I mean, we all know that the American and British English varies in pronunciation, the use of English words, vocabulary, accents, and more! British English seems to lose its "r" in most words, when an American is as simple as it is.

For some, they like British English because it falls so sophisticated and wise when someone speaks. With the context and use of words, students prefer to learn the "original" type of English.

For those who want simple and easy to understand English, which is essentially the most practiced of English around the world today, would prefer American English.

Then which of the two is actually the preferred by most people? The American or British English?

This article is to know which of these classifications the majority want. If you like British English better than an American, do not send side. If you like American English better, why not. I know that's not really an important issue for these classifications in English as both already claim its own identity, their selective surrounding areas.

However, because of this argument, this article would like to suggest other students to learn English language on which they are interested in. The British English that was spoken mostly in the European region, or in American English, the language one speaks of the largest countries in the world.

If you intend to teach English in the future, you can make this argument as a basis for your choice on what English you really are interested in learning. Let the debate begin!
