During your oceanography degree you may decide to specialise in chemical, physical or geological aspects of oceanography, or to follow a broader general pathway that gives you a fully interdisciplinary approach to ocean science.

You will also develop the scientific knowledge and challenging skills required to fully understand marine processes: from waves, tides and ocean currents, through to sediment transport, the chemical composition of seawater, phytoplankton blooms, fisheries and marine mammals.
