Is learning CorelDraw in a classroom better than learning it online?

Learning CorelDraw in a classroom or online is the individual choice of a person as both ways have their own merits. Some individuals find learning the traditional way useful while some prefer learning the course online. The effectiveness of the way of learning more pertains to how the individual grasps the subject rather than how he/she learns it.

Today, e-learning or online learning has come a long way and has gone from a niche type of teaching for technical subjects to being the most sought after, growing and nearly essential way to teach everything. Technology is expanding at a greater speed and people’s requirement and desire to learn on their own time and pace is making eLearning the aim for several businesses. Designing an eLearning course to be precisely like a conventional instructor led course is pretty much a certain way of creating a virtually unusable course that’s quite frustrating for students and teachers alike. Though eLearning shares several features with classroom training, as it has some unique characteristics.

Traditional Learning

Learning CorelDraw the traditional way requires you to attend classes in person and on campus. It makes sense to attend classes in person if you decide to live in dorms or want to get the real college experience. Moreover, you might require assistance from guidance counsellors and professors, which is more readily available on campus. Traditional classes might be a better option for students who aren’t very tech savvy or like interacting with teachers and professors face to face.

Online Learning

Online or eLearning comprises of classes that are conducted through the internet. More and more students are undergoing online classes because of the flexibility and expediency it offers. Online learning provides you with the advantage of attending class sessions from the comfort of your home and completes assignments whenever it’s convenient for you. Those individuals having family responsibilities and lack a flexible work schedule are best fit to the online way of learning. This way is also more beneficial as it doesn’t require any commuting, thus letting you save on time and money.

Learning CorelDraw

CorelDraw is a software created by Corel Corporation and is used for vector graphic editing and design. With the help of this software a professional can create artwork such as logos, wedding cards, complimentary cards, invitation cards, greeting cards, calendar, letter headed papers, etc. This software is very much used in the AEC industry and there are classes conducting CorelDraw training for the aspirants. The course covers the basics of computer illustration making the students aware about the tools available in CorelDraw, the way to use them, the way to work with objects, text, clip art, colour gradient meshes, special effects, masks and blends.

There are several CorelDraw training classes in Mumbai that conduct special lectures offering in depth studies of the more difficult-to-use tools which help aspirants receive instruction in basic art principles. These courses can be attended online as well as through traditional classes. It entirely depends on the individual as to how he/she prefers. For instance, some might find attending classes more advantageous than to learning the course online as you tend to get the feel of the subject when attending the classes in person. On the other hand, some find learning online more useful as it saves their time and the trouble of travelling.

Learning CorelDraw or for that matter any course requires good understanding and interest and the way to learn becomes secondary. Learning this specific course either way has its own merit and it’s for the individual to decide how he/she prefers to learn.
