  • Schedule a retake 15 days post your recent attempt. As you already know the pattern of the questions and how to answer, you can analyze your mistakes and work on the time you need to prepare for the next retake, fix your date accordingly.
  • You can select a slot that is a minimum of 24 hours after the time you are scheduling the transaction. Do not give a retake without investing time and effort in it and resulting in that in a sheer waste of money.
  • No-show is also considered as one of the 3 attempts. You must register for the retake and then would you be able to schedule a date for the NMAT exam.
  • One has to be a little careful in terms of the real-time availability of seats at centers. So work on the dates of possible retakes right when you are fixing the initial date.
  • Carry all the documents in original particularly the ID proof as a slight miss on any one of them might prevent you from sitting for the exam.
  • Reach the test center at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled timing to ensure things move ahead in an orderly fashion.
  • Have a score-wise strategy. 215 and above do not have to worry and retake may be optional for them. Below that cutoff, do not lose heart and work hard on getting additional questions right to reach that cut-off.
