Recording your own voice can be used to know what you sound like and for also highlighting what errors you are making. Correcting these errors will help you improve your spoken English.A good place to start is to take an English text. Read it a couple of times in your head and then read it out loud. Record your voice while you are doing the reading. Then play it back and listen for any obvious pronunciation errors. Another good exercise is to take a text that also has an audio track. This can be taken from a website or from your English course book. Listen to the recording and read the text at the same time. Next read the text recording your voice. Play the two tracks, one sentence at a time, and listen for any pronunciation differences while at the same time paying attention to stress and intonation.Doing this will help you improve your speaking and stop any errors that you make.
