At times,Relaxation techniques and benefits through building block sets Articles some kids do not have enough space to play and or do not have traditional toys like a building block. Moreover, they display incompatible responses that are based on the idea that there are certain answers that cannot occur simultaneously, i.e. when a of the responses makes it impossible to give the other, eg blowing and sucking, and extensional strain , being awake and asleep, be relaxed and anxious.

Counter conditioning is based on the idea that, in seeking to associate a response incompatible with anxiety prior to a situation that generates anxiety (i.e. with relaxation), to stop the anxiety-provoking situation. How about finding toys that will aid the kid behavior? Therapists can even help and this phase is performed after relaxation training.

Once the kid is relaxed, he or she is asked to imagine the scene as clearly as possible the lowest in the hierarchy. The same applies to adults. It is essential that the patient does not feel anxious while imagining the scene because, otherwise, could influence the anxiety rather than relaxation. Every time a scene ends, the patient is instructed to relax; thus, they are relaxed once again and they can imagine the scene.

When the patient gets to imagine the scene without feeling bad, then go to the next stage of the hierarchy. The process with a building block continues until the patient gets more aversive picture the scene without showing anxiety.

For example: a person with a phobia of dogs will be easier to associate relaxation with the situation of seeing a small dog and far, with the position of having the dog by the legs and looking the face. It is amazing to discover the help brought by traditional and natural toys.

Generalization

A building block can also generalize different variations of this situation.  For example: If you get the relaxation in the situation of taking a small dog in his arms, this relaxation will generalize the situation to pet or get a big dog. Systematic desensitization can also be used with any behavioral disorder caused by anxiety, such as treating an alcoholic whose drinking behavior occur in response to anxiety.

Technical variants

Truth is, building block sets do not only aid kids but they can help adults in many ways. It is a great development and it has been around forever. You will notice a wide variety of colors, shapes and more! The instructions in relaxation and the scenes of the hierarchy are recorded on cassette tapes. This method is useful as a backup method to practice at home.
