Countless children around the world seem to think that essay writing is just like going through a nightmare that has no end. Some students find it tiring because one has to sit for hours to write and then check again and again to eliminate mistakes while others are simply just not good at writing.

Essay writing is a critical element that all students need to master, however frightening they find it to be. Since it is a key element that determines the success of a student, students who are in school need special attention to organize and convey their ideas in a coherent manner so that later in their academic life they do not fear this task. 

Overcoming the writing hurdles!

Although, essay writing for school children seems like a very difficult task, but in fact it is not. All that is required is a bit of pre-planning and mastering a few technicalities and essay writing becomes a piece of cake.

In school, children have the opportunity to learn and grow. Teachers need to make sure that students learn the basics in their formative years, so that they can master the complex areas later. Basics include, how to structure the essay, how to formulate thoughts and put them onto paper etc. If the student is able to overcome the hurdle of forming words that describe their thoughts, then it will be very easy for such a student to write in the future. 

Parents- Help your child to brainstorm ideas!

Parents need to make an effort too. As the child is half of the time with the parents, they should help them to come up with new creative ideas. It has been noted that parents who encourage their children to think innovatively, their children can write more creatively. 

Make a habit to read!

There is no better way to induce a passion for writing than by developing an ardor for reading. If the child starts to show interest in reading than it will be easy for you to improve their writing skills too. Because, while reading the children also have a chance to enhance their limited vocabulary. So, make sure you give your children loads of books to read. They need not be works of Shakespeare. Let your children find their own favorite author. All you need to do is nudge them and they will find the right direction themselves.
