The anadromous or catadromous migration of fishes has a very strong message for the corporate as they.....

How true is the very popular saying that ‘practice only makes one to become perfect’?  How well is the phrase in its meaning and content?  Has the meaning of the above phrase is well understood by the corporate and its employees?  Does it really mean something to the animal world also?   Do animals also believe or follow the above phrase ‘practice make perfect’?

If one wants to compete in a running race or long jump or any other game or sport,The importance of preparation the corporate must learn from fishes Articles just the mere desire or ambition is not enough and one has to practice and prepare before taking part in such competition.  Every achievement and endeavor requires rigorous preparation and practice.   The secret of perfection lies only in constant practice.

Some fresh water and salt water fishes do undertake very long migration during their breeding season.  But the interesting thing about their migration is that their destination will always be a different habitat.  The ‘fresh water’ fish migrates to the sea for the purpose of breeding and similarly, the marine water fish will migrate to ‘fresh water’ habitat for spawning (breeding).

The anadromous (from salt water to fresh water) or catadromous (from fresh water to salt water) migration of the fishes is very much known to the scientists all over the world.  What is to be understood by the corporate and its employees from the fish migration is something different and that is only through practice, they can attain perfection.

Before they (fishes) attempt to reach the different habitats like ‘fresh water’ fish entering into the sea water (American Eel) or marine fish to ‘fresh water’ (Salmon), they first enter the estuary and reside over there for a while.  Before entering into the new habitat, these fishes get used or familiarized with the near new habitat.

In estuary, both the salt and fresh water are available and hence they use the estuary as centre of excellence for practicing fresh water or salt water habitat before they reach the respective destinations.    Migrating from salt water to fresh water or vice versa require such preparation.

Although such migration is inevitable for both Salmon and American Eel and evolution also have favoured such migration, but still, the same nature wants them to have some practice/preparation when they have to change their habitat either from fresh water to salt water or vice versa.  Without such practice, the very goal or purpose for which such long journey undertaken by these fishes would go futile.

Even for achieving what is inevitable for life also one has to practice and prepare.  Evolution has provided all the necessary prerequisite to these fishes to live both in fresh and salt water, but still they have to do some ‘home work’ before shifting from one level to another.
