Nile University of Nigeria.
This university is formed as a result of a collaboration between Nigerian and the Government of Turkey in 2009. At present the university offers five Engineering programmes to students who come from far and near to study with them. The five engineering programmes the university teaches are Computer, Eletrical and Electronics, Civil, Chemical and Petroleum and Gas Engineering.
The school provide state of art teaching and study facilities for each of the taught programme. They have conducive environment couple with highly experienced expartrates academic and non academic staff. It is reported that 30 percent of about 150 academic staff of the school are expartrates who have worked in different countries of the world and brought their vast experience to teaching at the Nile University of Nigeria in all different engineering degree programme the school offers.
University of Abuja:
This is the only public funded university in Abuja as of today. It was founded in 1990 and since inception it has been teaching engineering. The Department of Engineering UNIABUJA taught subject is design in such a way as to bridge the gap between the academic engineering programme and industry.
University of Abuja teaches five engineering programmes in it's well equipped and conducive Department of Engineering, awarding Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree after successful completion of five years of study.
Pan African University of Science and Technology
Pan African University of Science and Technology come into being as a result of call by a eminent African that a university should be established by the African which will serve as center for research and development among other universities in the continent.
Pan African University of Technology offer just only post graduate degree programmes in just three field of engineering: Computer Engineering, Material Science and Engineering and Petroleum Engineering awarding PhD and MSc degree certificate.
