The YMCA – Young Men's Christian Association -  was founded in 1844 in London.It is represented as an inverted red triangle signifying the development of mind,YMCA: Details about the university and courses offered Articles body, and spirit. It is an organization which actively works to promote the well-being of the youth.

The New Delhi YMCA, which was founded in 1927 has made a significant contribution to professional studies.It runs five Institutes  -  Office Management, Institute for Fashion Technology and Design, Institute for Career Studies, Institute of Management Studies and the Institute of Media Studies and Information Technology.

ELIGIBILITY :A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is essential for pursuing a degree at YMCA.

Along with the application form, attested copy of the following should be submitted:

  1. Certificate & Mark sheet of 10 standard or equivalent.
  2. Certificate & Mark sheet of 12 standards.
  3. Graduation Degree & Mark-sheet to be submitted.

(candidates awaiting their results can take provisional admission but original certificates must be submitted within 4 months from  the course commencement )

One Year Post Graduate Diploma

One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship & Business (PGDEB): A program that covers all aspects of starting and running an enterprise

One Year Post Graduate Diploma In Export And Import Documentation (PGDEID): For creating trained personnel for the growing Import & Export businesses – a growth area identified by the Government of India.

One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF): Designed to cater to the growing demand for qualified manpower in the Banking and Finance Sector and to have people with hands-on application skills, who can be assigned to various desks/jobs with minimal training intervention at the bank level.

One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain & Logistics Management(PGDSCLM): The growth of retail and specially e-Commerce, has created a huge demand for people qualified in SCLM.

One Year Diploma in Management Skills

YMCA Institute of Management Studies conducts  Management Development Programs /Executive Development Programs in areas of Marketing, Human Resource Development, Finance, IT and International Business and also sector specific programs for Hospitals etc.

The program is divided into two semesters and is designed to cover eight subjects in each semester including marketing, sales, finance, human relations, MIS, business ethics, communication skills etc.

ADDITIONAL  INFORMATION:

  1. Students must remain punctual throughout the year and maintain 70% attendance to be able to sit for the exams.
  2. Students must obtain a minimum  40% to obtain a division. Students scoring below 40% will have to sit in supplementary exams.
  3. Students scoring above  75% will achieve a distinction.
