The rc helicopters are known as radio controlled helicopters and also as the remote controlled helicopters.

The rc helicopters are making the kids and adults crazy. The experience of flying the helicopter is really amazing and no one can prevent himself in indulging himself in the activities related to such an exciting and highly active movement. A number of companies of the world are involved in manufacturing high quality rc helicopters having various colors,Be crazy with rc helicopters Articles designs, sizes which range from a low price to high price expensive product.  The material used in manufacturing these helicopters is generally carbon fiber or aluminum, glass reinforced plastic and plastic. Carbon fiber or fiber glass is used for making the rotor blades of the helicopters.

The different parts of the helicopter are manufactured in different units / companies. After buying the parts from separate places, the assembly of the rc helicopters is done at a place which takes place nearly 15 to 20 hours of time. These miniature helicopters are very similar to that of bigger full sized helicopters.  In comparison to the model aero planes, the model helicopters take more time in manufacturing and require more precision because they are more delicate and prone to the problems far more when comparing with the model aero plane. The rc helicopters are made light in weight and smaller in size but these things cause the very fast movement of its components like rolling and pitching at a high speed in a response to smaller inputs thereby posing difficulties in flying. Except for amusement and leisure purpose, these rc helicopters are also sometimes used for the functions like assisting in movie making, aerial photography at lower elevation levels, for assisting the police activities and many more.  The remote control system produces the frequency modulation (FM) signals to the control the rc helicopters.

Two types of modulation are there- PCM (Pulse code modulation) and PPM (Pulse position modulation). Since the PPM is available at lower rates, it is preferred over the PCM. The radio channels needed to control the helicopters are either 2 channels or 4 channels for smaller and bigger size helicopters respectively. These 4 channels control the rudder, aileron, elevator and throttle of the rc helicopters.  The two to four types of fuels are used in these helicopters for the purpose of flying well. These fuels are electric, gasoline, petrol or nitro which is also known as glow fuel.  The Li Po or lithium polymer battery is the advanced version of battery power and make flying easier.
