This radio control car which is usually used by children is also known as toy grade RC cars. Such cars are usually powered by rechargeable batteries and are of reasonable price. The expensive ones are known as hobby-grade RC cars because they have replaceable and interchangeable parts.

Such are controlled from a distance using specialized remote or transmitter.

The most common battery for radio control cars is the polymer battery which has a hard case and the most common voltage is 7.4V or 11.1V for nitro powered vehicles.
All radio control cars have four parts. The first part is the transmitter which controls the toy car. The transmitter is held on your hands and its work is to send radio waves to the receiver. The second part is the receiver which is an antenna and it receives the signals and activates the motor in the toy car as directed by the transmitter. The third part is the motor which steers the vehicles, turns the wheels and operates the propellers. Lastly we have the power source which is normally the battery. Any of the RC cars can ignite the creative ability of your child when he or she plays with it.
