My indestructible Zippo Lighter

Dropped and Stepped on, this Zippo never quits.

My Black Ice Zippo Lighter is virtually indestructible. I carry it everywhere! It has my name on it custom. Fishing trips, camping trips, you name it! I've dropped this on concrete, to only leave a small mark. I've even dropped it in a puddle while washing my car, the brief submerge didn't stop it from lighting. When its raining or windy, I can still light without any problems. This just goes to show why Zippo Lighters are so popular with tobacco enthusiasts everywhere.

The design of the classic windproof lighter is the reason behind my opinion above. These lighters have an outer case made of metal with a hinged top. Inside this is all the inner works of the lighter i.e. flint, wick, thumbwheel, etc.  There is an inner metal case that is open at the bottom where the lighter stuffing, called rayon batt stuffing, which absorbs your lighter fluid and fuels the wick. How could I forget the windscreen chimney - this allows the flame to operate efficiently without being blown out while outdoors.

This is the lighter you want if you love the outdoors like I do. They also work really great for starting a campfire. They dont get hot like a butane lighter and dont require you to have to hold your thumb down to keep a flame. Lets face it, those fire starting logs dont light easy - but a Zippo Lighter can easily light these.
