A suspected missile trajectory track surprisingly appears in the sky of California, triggering media’s speculation. On November, 9th, U.S. military stated that they did not detect foreign missile launches, ensured that the U.S. was not threatened, but the Department of Defense can not explain the steam track.
Local TV station KCBS in California captured a picture of Los Angeles in the evening; an arc appeared in the west sky, like a missile trajectory track that a missile left over. At that time, I was using my telescope, so I also saw the track. Media speculated that it may be caused by the missile launches from a foreign country.
U.S. Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command said in a statement: "At the moment, we can confirm that our country was not threatened. From all indications, there is no foreign military missile launch."
U.S. Department of
Defense can not explain the trajectory track showed in the sky, announced that
it would explore in the end. Defense Department spokesman David • Laban said
that both Department of Defense and the military, any possible missile launch
sector have announced their own irrelevance.
He also said, “Usually when the U.S. military test missile, they would ban the aerial line, notify the seafarers leave the relevant area. But this time there is no relevant measures, the military can not engage in military exercises in such region which is so close to the Los Angeles International Airport.”
