The crimes that take place at the streets of USA are very subversive in nature and CSI happens to capture them rhetorically, in an almost precise way. The show, when it first aired, straightaway stormed critics and audiences alike, topping almost every critic’s favorite list and winning several awards. If they solve the case of the women attacked by a shark at the Golden Nugget Casino pool, a hoarder’s house is discovered with more than one dead body. If they uncover a dead body and try to put it back together after it is literally shredded, a strangled woman shows up in a garbage bin. Every case is a burning mystery that pricks our brain to the extreme. As we watch the detectives solve the case, it appears as if we would have also solved the case easily, ignoring the fact completely that when we started watching the episode, we did not have a single clue as to how the detective would go about unraveling it. When CSI season 11 thronged with such metaphors, we expected that we can sit through all of them, thinking they would more or less use the same tactics, but only ended up devouring each episode. If directors of CSI decide to produce five hundred episodes, detective will be seen solving five hundred cases in five different hundred styles. CSI is one of the best crime shows ever produced!
