At some point you will move to P2P mmorpg. P2P means Pay 2 Play; basically you pay a subscription every month, starting from 5$ up to 14.99$, depending on the quality of the game and its features. Of course most of these P2P mmorpg have a trial period, free of charge, usually between 7 to 14 days of free trial, for you to see if you like the game, and if you would like to subscribe, in most of the cases, you can continue from where the trial ended.
