What to Bring to the Gathering of Juggalos 2011

Bring supplies and good vibes to one of the most unusual summer music festivals.

The Annual Gathering of Juggalos returns to Cave-In-Rock, Ill. this year from August 11 to 14, and the four-day event again promises to be one of the most incomparable summer festivals in the world. Like other popular summer festivals, the juggalo gathering promises multiple music stages with some of the top names in rap and hard rock. 
Unlike other summer festivals, though, the gathering of juggalos offers much more: pro wrestling, a full carnival midway, helicopter rides, and even female mud wrestling and wet T-shirt contests. What's more, all of this craziness goes on for 24 hours a day, at the biggest juggalo gathering in the world.
The Gathering of Juggalos will be, probably, the most epic party you've ever attended and put other summer festivals to shame. But to have the best time at the juggalo gathering, you need to come prepared. So what to bring?
Well, like at many other summer festivals, most people choose to camp on the Gathering of Juggalos grounds. So first and foremost, if you're bringing your car, you need to bring your pre-purchased car pass to park. 
Still, you have to leave your car in one spot the whole festival, so to get around the juggalo gathering easier, you may want to bring a sturdy bicycle. Leave other motorized vehicles at home.
Camping sites at the juggalo gathering aren't assigned, and, unlike other summer festivals, they're free, so don't stress about finding a place for all your friends to be together. But bring all of your own camping supplies! The Gathering of Juggalos does not provide tents or anything else. Past attendees of the juggalo gathering also suggest bug spray, sunscreen, and so on. 
The Gathering of Juggalos also allows you to bring your own alcohol as long as it isn't an excessive amount or in glass containers, and if you want to cook out at the juggalo gathering, you can bring a grill too. 
Unlike many summer festivals, you can also bring a camera and video equipment to record your good times at the juggalo gathering -- you just can't record the concerts. Also consider bringing walkie-talkies or other gadgets to find your friends around the Gathering of Juggalos grounds -- they're huge!
Otherwise, bring costumes and face paint, and most importantly, a good attitude to the Gathering of Juggalos, the most unique summer festival around!
