1)  Send The Wii to Nintendo for Repair

The First option you have is to pack up the Wii and send it in to Nintendo, or any authorized repair canter, to get it fixed. If your console is out of warranty than you’ll have to pay a (usually high) fee to get it fixed, plus shipping and handling.  This entire process can take weeks to complete and get your system, often up to 6 weeks.

2)  Fix Your Wii Yourself

This might at first seem like an impossible task for the average person, but rest assured it’s very possible. It’s actually the cheapest, fastest way to fix any problem your Wii may have. Most Wii problems are very easy to learn how to fix yourself.

The best part about this option is you won’t have to wait to get it fixed, you can do it at your earliest convenience. This is by far the option that should be chosen by a majority of Wii owners with the disc read error. Save yourself the time and the money by choosing this option. It’s fast, cheapScience Articles, and no prior knowledge is needed.
