Everybody is talking about the Would You Rather game.  You’ve probably participated in the game yourself.  But what makes it an engrossing activity?  It is your imagination!

This information was created to aid you in constructing your own would you rather questions to really stump your friends.  When you’re friends take their time to answer you will know that you’ve created a great would you rather question.

The initial step is what tone you wish to set.  Sometimes people won’t like being asked gross or embarrassing questions.  Know your players, make sure the question is enjoyable for everybody.

The next step is to imagine an improbable circumstance.  For instance:

Fall into the toilet.

Once you create the primary scenario your task is then to produce  another equal choice.  For instance:

Be attacked by an angry snake.

By asking these two scenarios, you have created a would you rather question.  The idea is you will have designed a complicated question and your friends will have a challenging time answering.

The best choices usually entail two connected options.For instance:

Get broken up with in public or break up with someone in public?

It is not surprising that this game is so fun. The more creative your scenario the more the more you will learn about your friends.  Depending on how out there your crowd is, you might gather too much information.

•             Eat at McDonald’s every meal for the rest of your life or never eat fast food again?

•             Sit on a whoopee cushion or sit on a tack?

•             Hit a button to randomly kill 10,000 people or kill yourself?
