Most women like to have a normal delivery of their baby instead of going for surgical method of birthing. Although,Pregnancy Information on Normal Delivery Articles some cases of childbirth require C-section, such surgical procedures of childbirth can be avoided. Soon-to-be-mommies can prepare their body for the process of normal delivery by resorting to these pregnancy tips for normal delivery.

For a trouble-free delivery and healthy baby, keeping yourself fit and healthy during the child bearing months is crucially important. While maintaining your health, you may also take measures to elevate your chances of normal delivery.

  • Start by following the right sitting and standing postures. It's advisable that a mom-to-be avoid standing for long hours, especially in later stages of pregnancy as standing exerts gravitational pull on the baby forcing it further down to the pelvis, which may become a concern later. Also, avoid lifting and carrying heavy things.
  • Spicy food items have a warming effect on your body and are known to induce chances of normal childbirth. If you are experiencing heartburn, nausea and vomiting, it would be better that you abstain from eating spicy food.
  • Labour-stimulating fruits, such as pineapple, papaya and mangoes are rich in bromelain, an enzyme known to soften the impact on the cervix. If you wish to consume these labour-inducing fruits, remember to eat them fresh. Canned fruits have no bromelain as they lose it during their processing.
  • If you have been complaining of contractions, take half an hour walk on regular basis. Walking facilitates side-to-side movement of your hips positioning the baby in the right spot for normal delivery. Moreover, walking also keeps your muscles toned.
  • Normal delivery requires a lot of physical strength and stamina on the mother's part. Labour leads to intense physical exertion, thus soon-to-be-mommies must engage in some mild cardiovascular exercises to build the required strength and stamina. It is, however, of utmost importance to take your obstetrician's advice before indulging in any sort of physical activity during the months prior to childbirth.
  • To avoid caesarean section, you may also indulge in pre-natal yoga sessions. Yoga techniques are great for regulation of respiration and heartbeat and to relax the system. Yoga improves muscle strength, which aids in labour process. Yogic postures that resemble pelvic tilts and squats can lead to expansion of pelvis, thus facilitating easy and normal childbirth.

The tips mentioned above will surely keep you away from the risks and troubles of caesarean section.
