Hence, plan and work go hand in hand. We are all familiar as to what is recession, right? We just do not only know the definition, we know recession effect and we know what happens during a recession because we have personally experienced the effect. What we need is not a dictionary to tell us what recession is all about. We need to have a crisis management plan instead.
Management has several definitions. Management, in this article, refers to the judicious use of means to accomplish an end. Plan, on the other hand, is defined by dictionaries as a scheme devised or a method of action or procedure expressed or prescribed in language. Crisis management plan is a scheme on how to pull through or outlive a crisis.
Part of a crisis management plan is to make use of tactics that work. These tactics work for those who are presently employed.
# 1 Show dedication and commitment to your work
You know that recession effect is unemployment. Companies or business establishments lay off workers. This is done in order for the company to survive still. Persons who are first in the list of to be laid off are those who are not considered as assets to the company. For you to be an asset be dedicated and committed to your work. How do you do it. These are examples. You come to your station ahead of time. If your official time starts at 8 o'clock in the morning, come at around 7AM. As soon as you arrive at the office, do your job. Another way is for you to talk less and do more. You achieve less when you keep on talking. Focus on your job. The more you accomplish, the better is your chance to be retained. After all, managers or employers are output oriented.
# 2 Buy only what you need
How many times have you bought something then you regret why you did so when you reach home? Several times maybe. Life during the great depression is not easy. Therefore, you have to know how to set priorities. Say for instance, make do with an old cellphone. Do not throw it away just because you were able to see that there is something new with more features. While it is true that features are tempting, it is also true that you don't need those features every now and then. The use of cellphones is to communicate through text or call. Camera, tv and the like are only extra ones.
# 3 Save 10% of your income
If you're earning 10,000 $ a month, deposit 1,000$ in a bank. Do not keep on thinking about what you have deposited. Just spend the 9,000 $ left for all that you need. You will realize in time that little by little you will have a big amount in the bank. You can use the money for emergency cases. Unlike if you don't have any savings at all, you'll have problems when there are untoward incidents which need much money. You are also sure that you will not worry as to what happens during a recession with your family because you have money to use as the need arises.
