Your first purchase with the card brings you 4000 points and a stay at Starwood hotels and resorts adds 6000 Starpoints to your collection.

Point Redemption

The points you build up using the Starwood Preferred Guests American Express can be used for free-stays at Starwood hotels and resorts (this, of course, rules out blackout dates and/or capacity restrictions). Thus, 10000 accumulated points give you three-nights’ free stay at the Starwood hotels.

Another very attractive feature of this program is that you can transfer points to a variety of frequent flier programs. Transfer of 20,000 such star points will get you 5,000 bonus miles. Star points can be transferred to 30 major airlines.

The accumulated points will never expire so long your account is active within a one-year period.

Normal Annual Percentage Rate (APR)- 18.24%

APRs (whether introductory or regular) are applicable on purchases and balance transfers.

Annual fee is $30, which is waived for the first year
