Wealth is a choice so was the Olympics for every athlete that made the team. Maybe not for the Chinese athletes it is their duty to win for their country; unfortunately most of them do not have a choice. Look at the article that came out yesterday about Yao Main the great Chinese basketball player,Wealth is a Choice so was the Olympics for every Athlete Articles and how hard China has been pushing him in the off-season. It was about his legs, and they are giving way. I think he is playing on a broken foot again, and China will not bench him. All they want is to win, and if it means he could never play again; it is okay as long as China wins in the Olympics.

BEIJING (AP)—One little girl had the looks. The other had the voice.

So in a last-minute move demanded by one of China’s highest officials, the two were put together for the Olympic opening ceremony, with one lip-synching “Ode to the Motherland” over the other’s singing.

The real singer, 7-year-old Yang Peiyi, with her chubby face and crooked baby teeth, wasn’t good looking enough for the ceremony, its chief music director told state-owned Beijing Radio.

So the pigtailed Lin Miaoke, a veteran of television ads, mouthed the words with a pixie smile for a stadium of 91,000 and a worldwide TV audience. “I felt so beautiful in my red dress,” the tiny 9-year-old told the China Daily newspaper.

Peiyi later told China Central Television that just having her voice used was an honor.

It was the latest example of the lengths the image-obsessed China is taking to create a perfect Summer Games.

Here is another little story from the Olympics about how their people do not have the choice. It's all about China! I am so happy to be an American citizen where wealth is a choice, and it is my choice to pursue it. Truly it should be everybody's choice to pursue wealth, and to achieve it. I always think of the Olympics as a choice for each one of the competitors.  What each one had to give up in life to achieve there goal, and make the Olympic team. You hear so many stories of people becoming rich overnight; but the truth is most of them worked for 10 of 15 years until they finally achieved it.

Look at some of these gymnasts; how many of you really know how many hours, and how many years they trained, and worked their tails off just for a shot at the Olympic team. I think about when they were children, and had to give up the fun and games to practice five or six hours a day; plus go to school, and get good grades. It is really true that America’s retirement program will not be around in years?  Wealth is a choice; and every American must make it; to change where this country is going even Donald Trump said it in the book he wrote with Robbie Kiyosaki: the title was “Why we want You to be Rich”. One of the most well-known and wealthiest men in America is telling us wealth is a choice each one of us needs to make. The facts in this book are eye opening. That's why I gave every athlete in the Olympics my applause; because each of them have made a choice, and gave up a lot to make their team, and try to win a gold medal for their country.
